You often hear the call to 'buy American'. Let's expand that to 'support local business' We create needed jobs with local economic activity. Think globally if you want but acting local is what gets the job done. Support established business and encourage new ones. That's what built America!

In times of concern, notice I didn't say "fear", we should proceed cautiously but with confidence in ourselves, the people. We've been here before. This isn't the first downturn we've experienced. Did you know prosperity has followed every major recession? That's because we don't quit. We knuckle down, work hard and accomplish great things. We're not afraid of hard work or hard times. Our love of country, family and a resolute trust in God won't fail. And we'll do it again! We are the economy.

Nancy King (Champaign) - One of the best realtors in the area, a wonderful person and trusted friend. Nancy was an integral part of the "Adventure of Voorhies Castle" which was an eleven year chapter in my not so usual life.
