| I enjoy video, both professionally and
personally so it's not
unusual to have a camera with me as I go about my day. I
look for opportunities to capture people, places and things for
specific projects or to add to my stock footage. Here is such an occasion.
This was recorded Sunday, September 7,
2008 at Lincoln Square Village Mall in Urbana, IL as Arlie and friends
played their weekly gospel sing in the center food court.
He and his guests have played 76
afternoon performances in the last two years. That's two
and a half 'months of Sundays' as I figure it.
Gospel Cannonball is a revised version
of the traditional folk song about a fictional train of
the late 1800s..
The train that appears
in the video was
shot headed east out of Philo, Illinois on a sunny summer day
about three years ago. I'm glad I had my own stock footage to use
here.
