My Dad was Edward Blacy Ierardi, born 1917 in Medway, Massachusetts. He had a younger sister, Louise and at least three brothers; Pat, Raymond and Mario. The family lived many years in North Grosvenordale, Connecticut.
He enlisted in the Army Air Forces in 1941 and retired 1961 after 20 years distinguished service. He died in Rantoul, Illinois, home of Chanute AFB, in 1964.
My grandfather was Antonio F. Ierardi, born 1880. I believe he was from Corleto Perticara in souther Italy. He married Giovanna Murolo, born 1892 who was from the Isle of Capri. He died in late 1957 of early 1958. I do not know when she passed away.
